Propostion 28: Arts and Music Funding

Proposition 28: Funding Arts and Music in Schools, with art supplies in the foreground.

Bringing More Arts to Our Schools!
Thanks to Proposition 28, California schools now receive nearly $1 billion each year to grow arts and music programs—without raising taxes. This funding means more teachers, more classes, and more creative opportunities like music, theater, dance, visual arts, and even media arts and coding for our students.

Thanks to Proposition 28, Willits Unified School District is receiving dedicated funding to support and expand arts and music education for our students. These funds allow us to bring more opportunities into our classrooms—whether through new instruments, supplies, or additional programs that inspire imagination and expression. Proposition 28 helps ensure every student has the chance to explore their artistic talents and grow through music and the arts.
